Behind the Music
the universal language.
I believe in the transformative power of sound. Through music, I aim to help the world feel and heal together.
Music has always been the driving force- empowering me on a journey of healing. Exploring natural healing and medicine, diving into the profound connection between sound and wellness, and experiencing firsthand their healing powers left me speechless. And full of hope.
I hope for everyone to personally experience the power of nature's wisdom and power felt through the crystal bowls. With a background in plant medicine and a master certification in sound healing, I bring a holistic approach to my music and sound healing sessions.
Combining the ancient practice of sound healing with modern techniques, these songs are crafted to resonate with the soul and uplift the spirit. Whether you're seeking relaxation, inspiration, or a deeper connection with yourself, this music offers a journey of self-discovery and healing.
In addition to creating music, I am dedicated to sharing the therapeutic benefits of sound through crystal singing bowl sessions. These immersive experiences invite participants to explore the healing vibrations of sound, promoting relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being.
After completing my internship at Suburban Pro Studios in St. Louis, Missouri, I am exited to continue my studies in sound engineering at Webster University. I seek to continuously refine my skills as a musician and keep things playful!
Thank you for joining me on this musical journey of self-discovery and healing! Together, let's harness the power of sound to nurture our minds, bodies, and spirits.

REA
About REA
Hey! I'm Rea. I am a human who is passionate about the art of expression. I have found immense fulfillment in the expression of sound, which has grown to make me a full-time artist, musician / singer songwriter, music therapist, and healer currently studying sound engineering. I guess you could say my story with music began in the womb...lol...with my mother singing in the choir every week. I grew up surrounded by music, blues, rock...Stevie Ray Vaughan, Coldplay, Switchfoot, Robert Cray.
I started writing songs in high school (very bedroom pop esque) some of which i documented thru making videos for my youtube channel that i would share with my close friends. i never had much of a plan for what i would do with my songs, other than connect with the people in my immediate life.
After years of writing and sharing and tweaking and learning,, my vision of music and what I desired quickly took over my life. which over time evolved into an obsession with live music and the electronic scene. The most loving electric wild place on earth. I became addicted to the feeling of sharing parts of my inner world that I struggled to find words for in the form of a song. Dancing to things that used to make me want to cry. It's cathartic. and magic. It feels like the safest form of letting someone read your diary, but in an intimate, inviting sort of way.
After falling madly in love with the song-making process, I worked with audio engineer Carter McKee at Suburban Pro Studios to develop a deeper understanding of the world of audio engineering.. Carter is a wizard with all things sound design. It's like magic watching him work and I really think he's the reason I decided I wanted to learn the world of audio. He allowed the artist in me to feel in control, before I knew the method behind the magic. He welcomed my ideas and I began developing trust in my voice and sonic direction.
During this internship, I had a healing awakening with the experience of healing frequencies. It wasn't long after I decided to get my certification as a sound healer, allowing me to bring the medicine of music to others by playing sound baths around the city with crystal singing bowls. The bowls have inspired me in a new way to return to the basics. The simplicity of why I started making music in the first place. Because music is healing. It doesn't matter if you don't know about compression or harmonies. Everyone can share the experience of a song. And for a minute it feels like the world is at one.
The feeling of the crystal resonating in the body is like nothing I've ever experienced. It feels like a clean slate.
A skilled audio engineer is essential to the song making process. At this point in my journey, I am bringing it back to the basics. Percussion, guitar, voice, piano. With an emphasis on super clean sound. Studying audio engineering through my current apprenticeship, I am constantly expanding my abilities as an artist to create the exact sound I wish to FEEL : ) I am stoked to help others do the same on their musical journeys!!
What's currently inspiring me:
figuring out what makes certain songs sound sooo good.
making really yummy soup.
eating lots of raw foods and sprouts.
superfood lattes (goldenmilk, matcha, decaf mushroom coffees hehe)

What the future holds:
My dreams I am working towards include: one day having a studio that feels like home for artists to share. A space inspired by nature that smells like warm bread. Fresh air and tall ceilings. Music mirrors our environment, so I want to create a studio that feels as good as the music sounds. A space that allows for the best art to be made.
hit me up if you want to make something together or book with me.
all the love,
